A Recap of Recent Ecommerce Events and Conferences

The past few months have been busy for the Absolute Web team! We’ve had the privilege of participating in many impactful conferences and events that have broadened our knowledge and strengthened our dedication to staying at the forefront of ecommerce trends. 

Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to!  

ChargeX Amplify 

Our team had the pleasure of sponsoring ChargeX Amplify this year. The incredible team at Recharge put together a lineup of sessions that were jam-packed with valuable information on optimizing subscription services, customer retention strategies, and enhancing user experience. We also had the opportunity to reconnect with our Recharge partner managers, Kevin Kline and Callie Calimlim, over dinner!

CX Connect 

We had an incredible time at CX Connect, hosted by Gorgias. The event featured inspiring speakers like Harley Finkelstein, President of Shopify, Kevin Gould, Co-founder of Glamnetic, and Alexandria Collis, Sr. Director of Operations at Princess Polly. Their insights on enhancing customer service and using AI to create seamless and positive customer journeys were invaluable. Our day ended with a wonderful rooftop happy hour with the Gorgias team, including Ellen Zhang, their Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, followed by a delightful dinner with Sahara at Lashify.

Commerce Next

Attending Commerce Next in New York City was an enlightening experience for us at Absolute Web. Over three amazing days, we heard from over 150 industry-leading speakers and connected with more than 2,500 retailers, brands, and tech companies. We also enjoyed a happy hour with our partners from Signifyd and Orita, as well as a private dinner with our partners from Nostra. 

Attentive Thread World Tour

Our team had great time attending the Attentive Thread World Tour in Los Angeles, California. The event provided us with noteworthy insights into the latest customer engagement and retention strategies. We also networked with industry leaders, exchanged innovative ideas, and explored solutions that will bolster our offerings with next-level personalization and performance.

Editions.Dev 

The Absolute Web team traveled to Toronto, Canada for Shopify’s Editions.dev conference. We learned from the talented builder and developer community, attended workshops to explore the latest tools from the platform, and engaged with top industry experts. 

GROW NY

Grow NY was an exciting and informative event, bringing together 750 Shopify Plus brands to explore cutting-edge strategies and technologies for Ecommerce. With 50 powerful speakers sharing their expertise, we walked away feeling inspired and full of valuable insights. The day wrapped up on a high note with a happy hour hosted by Smarterships!

The Lead

Sponsoring the Lead Summit in NYC was a great way for us to connect with top DTC brands and learn new strategies for leveraging AI and understanding consumer behavior. We also enjoyed building new relationships and catching up with some of our existing partners at a fun happy hour hosted by Aftersell!

Flow Summit

It was a privilege to be back as a sponsor for FLOW Summit 2024, where we were honored to receive the ‘Outstanding Collaboration’ Award from Signifyd. This award highlights our dedication to foserting strong relationships, and we’re excited to keep building on this success. We closed out the event with a delightful dinner with our Signifyd partner managers Elizabeth Stohl, Morgan Kirkvold, and Libby Poje.
