Horus Straps
Horus Straps approached Absolute Web with a lack of new customer acquisition and stagnant growth.
Most of their marketing strategies were all designed to recapture current customers and they were seeing no growth year over year in sales revenue.
What we did
Google Ads Challenge
When we first onboarded Horus Straps, their Google Ads account consisted of mostly all Branded campaigns, obviously with an extremely high return on ad spend. However, their main goal was to acquire new customers and there was very little focus on that. When we stepped in, their year to date performance (8 months) looked like the following:
Branded:
- Conversions (purchases) – 592.19
- ROAS – 23.19
Prospecting:
- Conversions (purchases) – 292.28
- ROAS – 1.08
Clearly, their prospecting campaign needed some work. We were given the opportunity to improve their account by focusing heavily on new customer acquisition with a goal CPA of $150.
Our Results
In the same time frame and with highly specific prospecting campaigns, we generated the following purchases from only new customers:
AW Prospecting:
- We spent 65.72% less on ads
- Generated two dozen less purchases while increasing the revenue by 10.32%
- Cut the cost per acquisition by nearly 50%
- Increased the ROAS by 2x

Challenge
When auditing the Horus Straps Facebook account, we knew the main goal for the client was new customer acquisition. However, nearly every campaign was set to optimize for page likes and landing page views, none of which prioritize purchases.
When we stepped in, the only purchase campaign they were running had the following targeting and results:
